Spicy Balsamic Chicken Legs

Need a flavorful and easy dish for a weeknight dinner with your loved one (or roomie!!)? These chicken legs will satisfy that need and hit the spot for flavor! Not only is it cost effective, is only 4 ingredients and takes no time to prep! I also love chicken legs because they are so juicy and don’t become dry like chicken breasts. They are also not overly spicy; they are the perfect amount of spice and tang from the balsamic vinegar...the perfect flavor combo in my opinion.

Pair these chicken legs with a nice salad, a side of pasta and or roasted vegetables. I ate my legs with air frier butternut squash zig zags (they look like fries) from Trader Joe’s. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Recipe:

Serves 2-3

Ingredients:

6 Chicken Legs

1 1/2 tbsp Trader Joe’s Italian Bomba Hot Pepper Sauce Fermented Crushed Calabrian Chili Peppers

2 1/2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

1 tsp Garlic Powder

Canola Oil Cooking Spray

Directions:

1. Combine all of the ingredients, besides the cooking spray, in a bowl and marinate 30 min, stirring occasionally.

2. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

3. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray

4. Evenly place the chicken legs on the tray and pour the remaining sauce over the top. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until fully cooked. Serve immediately!
